Neutral Density Filters Reflective ND Filters

Reflective Metallic Neutral Density ND filters use optical glasses and materials coated with metallic coatings to attain their density by reflection and absorption. Different base glass materials can produce UV reflective ND filters for the ultraviolet and optical glasses cover the visible and infrared regions.

The optical density equation:
D = log10 (1/T), or T = 10-D
